I known Ernie for over 30 years as our kids played sports together when they were little , and I had a baseball card shop in the plaza . He is a great guy !!

They have a large selection of fine jewelry and are very helpful. Also, family members have had Ernie design bands for their wedding rings. I am going to have mine done there also. High quality jewelry, competitive prices, a must visit. He will clean your jewelry anytime. No pressure sales.

My husband and I like to support local business so when I lost a diamond from my ring, we thought we would give Hillcrest Jewelers a try. Oh my goodness! Right decision. Ernie made the repairs needed and my ring is now more beautiful than when it was new!! I highly recommend this jeweler. Ernie is delightful to deal with. I was in Hillcrest Jewelers this week to have my wedding ring checked and cleaned. I was worried that the stone wasn't being held by the prongs of gold. It has been years since I had it checked. Ernie was wonderful and took a look at it. He sent it out to be safely set because it is a princess cut diamond. I was very happy with his customer service and quick response.

Hillcrest Jewelers is open. I needed to see if some gemstones I had were real so I went in and what an amazing experience. He looked at them and gave me my answer. A little history first, Ernie Eaton has been my dads best friend since high school. My longtime boyfriend of 12 years and I lost our home this year to the Dixie Fire. My boyfriend is a wild land firefighter and even fought the fire on our own home in Indian Falls in Plumas County, to no avail, almost all the homes were lost in Indian Falls.I had been wearing his grandmother’s wedding ring for years. Mike, my boyfriend wanted to do something nice to help rebuild our lives. This is where the incredible network of jewelers came together and custom created this amazing ring for me!!! I’ve always loved rose gold and a vintage look, however I never would’ve dreamed the most beautiful ring has been made for me.
